I have fond memories of the summer – we took our children to Paris for the first time.
One of the many things I love about new experiences is a fresh approach and energy to life back home. So I’m celebrating and embracing the advantages of being a small independent retailer.
I’ve always loved silver. I consider it a lovely hard wearing metal that is incredibly versatile and I love the tone. Yet, it’s so rarely used with high end gems. So as one of the advantages of being my own boss, I’ve made up and made available a few sterling silver sapphire or tanzanite pendants within my Cheshire Set collection.
I will confess to being a bit of an overthinker. Occasionally though, life throws up things that I can confidently grasp with both hands.
This has happened twice recently. The first, back in May when the lovely team at Clogau mentioned they had a good number of high quality deep blue sapphires available. I did my numbers and felt awash with great excitement at pursuing a fine stone collection.
The second time was when Huboo CEO, Martin, invited Ojewellery to be a case study for a Huboo marketing campaign.
Jewellery has been a fascination of mine back to early childhood. Sitting at my Grandmas dressing table with her showing me some of her beautiful jewellery and occasionally being allowed to try on a fancy necklace or two.
Since then my love and appreciation of Clogau as a brand, but also a wonderful supportive group of people with a strong ethos and great business values has grown.
100% Positive Feedback
Before I became a seller, I understood 1 star to be poor and 5 stars to be outstanding – someone who has really achieved everything you expected and gone above and beyond. If an item was roughly as expected 3 stars, everything that was expected 4 stars.
As a seller I’ve come to understand, behind the scenes in metric land, anything below 5 stars is considered failing. 5 star positive feedback is the only truely positive feedback.
